Inspired by old country record sleeves, 70's metal, and my years as a screen printer, I wanted this record to have a timeless look with a very minimal colour palette that could easily carry out through all aspects of this release. Because the past albums had booklets, posters and fold outs, we decided to try something different and put all the lyrics and info on the back of the record, to reflect the press releases printed on the back of those 50's country records. Let someone coming across the record read all about the songs without having to actually hear them.
The album came with a hotel door hanger based off the song "Quiet As A Rat" which doubled the download card. The initial run of the album also came with lyric bingo cards that could be played while listening to the album. If you got a full "blackout" card, of which there were 3, you could send it in to receive a one of a kind gift! We also made a vintage horror movie poster, national parks patch, shot glass, and shirts based of lyrics herd through the album, and all just using the 3 printed colours.
